The Portable Gas Forge Single Burner is heated by propane gas to provide a consistent, controlled heat for manufacturing horseshoes to fabricating custom tools. Farriers will heat the shoe to the desired temperature in the Gas Forge to make them more malleable for forging and shaping. The shoe may need re-heating several times should the outside temperature drop while working.
